It’s either “Spidey’s so cool, he just rolls with anything” or “maybe there’s a missing thought balloon of Peter thinking Dr Strange and the bad guy were pulling Mysterio type tricks.” Peter does seem more like one of the Scooby gang, debunking the mystical, than a believer.
His stories have been street level crime dramas until now, and some sci-fi-ish adventures, but no fantasy/magic settings yet.
Spider-Man Annual #2: It really should bother me that Spidey took the whole “falling into another dimension” in stride rather than freak out. “I think I’ll call you Little Herc.” And now I’m worried about the man-skirt again!Īlso kind of interesting that Asgard is Kirby-style technological city, and Olympus is this pastural community. Also, the bridge scene seemed like the Robin Hood/Little John bit. Main take: Herc’s man-skirt was really short. JiM with Thor Annual #1: The Mighty Hercules! While there wasn’t much of a story, it was a fun intro. Yum! What a great treat while reading some comics. A cup of hot chocolate on the side and I’m good to go.
